I hate to bring this here, but there isn't much else for me to resort to. Unfortunately, as many of you may have already heard through myself or from my family, my son, Axel, recently went missing on his birthday shortly after the party we threw for him at Langley's. He turned 21 this year, so we had assumed at first that he went out with some friends to celebrate, but he never came home and we haven't been able to contact him since. His friends are telling us they haven't seen him, and neither are our neighbors. We know that he's an adult, and he's always been independent, but this just isn't like him. In such a small town, I can't even begin to imagine what's happened or where he could be. Talking with the police recently has come up short, and I'm really just hoping this is all a really bad misunderstanding.

He's about 5'10 and a half, slim, wears glasses and has bright orange hair just like his mother. You really couldn't miss him. The last we saw him he was wearing his green sweatshirt, blue jeans and a dirty pair of white sneakers. Just please, if you happen to see him, or know someone who has, give me a call or come by my house. I trust most of you enough already to be publishing this here, and I don't think I would be upset in any world by someone coming to my doorstep just to tell me my son is safe. Thank you.

And Axel, if you are somehow reading this, wherever you may be, please come home. Me, your mother and Teresa are worried sick about you. We still don't know why you're gone or if you were even the one to make the decision to disappear, but if you were, please, please, please just tell us what's going on and what we can do to help you. We love you so, so much. We've thought about you every day since you left, and we miss you so much. We want to talk about this and reconcile if it's even possible. Just please come home.
