More About Me

I was born in Palo Alto and I lived there until I was 18 after I was fortunate enough find a place to stay in Boston while I attended MIT. I quite enjoy city life. It's been all I've known for the majority of my life, however I would enjoy moving somewhere more rural when the time comes for me to retire. Wouldn't we all, though :)?

I grew up an only child, so I had a lot of time to myself. In my youth I did some track and a little bit of volleyball here and there, but for the most part I liked to be inside reading a book or something of that nature. However, in 1997, my parents bought and set up a home computer in our den, and I think thats where a lot of my current interests were formed. Since then, I have always been deeply infatuated with technology and all of its abilities and mysteries. As a child, I remember it feeling like I was a million miles away, like maybe space ships could be real. I'd like to capture that feeling again one day with my work.

When I'm not pouring myself into my research, I like to indulge myself in odd jobs, anything that I personally find could be a challenge. Really, I like anything strange. I've had this interest since I was a child, and I find it to be a comforting hobby of mine. I like to think of it in the same light as drawing or photography, as to me its all art.

The paranormal is also something of an interest of mine, stemming from my intense desire to always explain what isn't already known. I'm not so interested in ghosts or things of that nature, I really do just mean the unexplainable, flat out. I find it captivating how things beyond our understanding could be happening to people all around the world, every single day.
